Antiquing in San Miquel De Allende and on the road to Dolores Hidalgo

This shop was on the way to Dolores Hidalgo, famous for tile.

Lots of larger pieces of Terracotta, rustic wood, colonial doors, Architectural salvage and religious artifacts.

Beautiful carved pieces.

An assortment of Masks out of town.

Great old paint on furniture.

Hand forged mid-century garden chairs, if I had a house in San Miguel these would have been ours.

These as well! love the generous proportions.

Antique tile, in a town filled with tile this was a rarity, all tiles seem to be newly made in any pattern you can imagine- we bought these for our kitchen, or for an outdoor built-in.

This shop was introduced to us by our friend Lisa Kingsley, lots of Masks, Milagros, silver, and retablos.
